Q: I have registered – what’s next?
A:

  • If you are a sponsored participant, we will contact you to arrange for your flight. All sponsored participants will lodge at the Ellily or Intercontinental Hotel. We will assign your lodging.
  • If you are a self-payer, we encourage you to stay at one of the partner hotels to take advantage of the discounted rate as well as the complimentary shuttle service between the hotels listed and the AU.
  • If you have indicated that you require visa support – you will receive your visa on arrival approval document

Q: I don’t know if I am sponsored – how do I find out?
A: please feel free to contact us and we will clarify – info@africatalksjobs.africa

Q: I want to stay in a different hotel than the ones listed – would that be an issue?
A: No problem at all – just note that there will not be any shuttle service for hotels outside of the listed conference partner hotels. However, you can easily take a taxi to the AUC. You will find taxis outside of almost all hotels and outside of the AUC as well

Q: Would my registration be accepted even though I registered without being invited?
A: We will place your registration on hold until the week of October 23rd and notify you if your registration has been accepted or not during that week. The event has limited capacity.

Q: Can I receive the detailed agenda of the event?
A: We will upload the latest agenda as it becomes available – please check the website regularly for new updates

Q: Can I submit a story for the blog section?
A: Absolutely as long as it is relevant to the event topic! Send us your submission at info@africatalksjobs.africa
